The industry’s first 400 amp high current density plasma cutting system, the Spirit400a delivers 80kw of precision plasma muscle that will deliver a quick return-on-investment due to significant increases in productivity.
KALIBURN has engineered the Spirit400a to fill a void in the industry for high amperage plasma cutting that achieves greater capacity and output. Rated 400 amps at 200 volts, 100 percent duty cycle, the Spirit 400a can pierce and production cut steel up to 2” (50 mm) thick and process 1” (25 mm) thick steel at speeds of up to 85 ipm. The system maintains KALIBURN’s exceptional cut edge quality (≤ 2o bevel), delivering square and virtually dross free edges.

The Spirit400a features KALIBURN’s new Hafnium Optimizing Technology (HfOT™), which drastically extends electrode life and helps improve overall cut quality and consistency. The system is also fully integrated with KALIBURN’s patented INOVA Torch Height Control system, which sets all vertical height and arc voltage parameters, further simplifying operation and maximizing versatility and torch consumable life. Additional convenience and ease of use with the Spirit400a comes from the Automatic Gas Console (AGC) that automatically sets process parameters, displays the required torch parts and part numbers, and monitors the parts’ usable life.
